Customers must have an active Al Fardan Exchange account, with valid KYC, and a UAE-registered mobile number. During the registration process, they will need to enrol for AANI services and provide their consent to link their Al Fardan account by accepting the terms and conditions.
- How is the Al Fardan exchange account linked to AANI?Read More
During customer onboarding and Know Your Customer (KYC) registration, the registered mobile number is mapped to the customer’s Al Fardan account and enrolled into the AANI directory, making it possible to send and receive money via registered mobile number.
- What happens if registration fails?Read More
The system will show an error message indicating the failure reason (e.g., invalid ID, number already registered elsewhere). The customer may be prompted to try again or contact us on 600522265 or email on help@alfapay.com.
- How does a customer send money using AANI from the Al Fardan exchange?Read More
Customer can send money by visiting any Al Fardan exchange branch for retail branch. If a customer wants to send money via digital channels using AANI, then the customer should be registered on AlfaPay and can select the AANI option, enters the recipient’s mobile number (registered with AANI), the amount, and confirms the transaction using OTP or biometric verification.
- What are the transfer limits on AANI through Al Fardan Exchange?Read More

Request to Pay (RtP) allows a customer (Payee) to request money from another AANI-registered user. The recipient (Payer) receives a notification through AANI (AANI App or AlfaPay application) and can approve or reject the request directly in their application. For Al Fardan exchange this feature is enabled only for TravelEz customer. There two modes of payments “Request to Pay” outgoing and “Request to Pay” incoming.
- How does a customer initiate a “Request to Pay” outgoing?Read More
From the AlfaPay App, the customer selects "Request to Pay" and enters the payer’s mobile number, amount, and reason of payment, and sends the request. The payer will be notified instantly.

Customer will receive the notification on AlfaPay App, from the “Payer” wherein the customer can go to the “Request to Pay” incoming section and accept or reject the payment instructions.

The request remains pending for a predefined time (7 days) before it expires automatically.

Customers can navigate under “AANI payments” where they can view Pending payments section within the AlfaPay App to see all outstanding payment requests.

Yes, the payer can reject the request, and the requestor can also cancel it before approval.
- Is any action required if the request expires?Read More
No. Expired requests are removed automatically, and no funds are deducted or held.

A static QR code is a fixed code generated on the AlfaPay App by a Al Fardan exchange customer to receive payments. It contains account or mobile number information linked to AANI, but the payer must manually enter the payment amount.
